Elaboration on Interoperability Test in Asia: 

ebXML Interoperability Test in Asia 
=================================== 
The "ebXML Asia Interoperability Task Group (ITG)" was formed in 
November with nine member organizations from industry and government 
groups in China, Chinese Taipei, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, and 
Thailand. 

The objectives of ITG are to: 
- test interoperability between ebXML products developed by ebXML Asia 
Comittee member organizations and their affiliates 
-inspect the ebXML specifications and confirm their feasbility through 
the interoperability test 
- provide feedback on the ebXML standards to OASIS to improve the 
standards 
- publish knowledge acquired through the interoperability test and 
promote the use of ebXML in Asia 

Schedule: 
December 2002: exchange pre-test DUMP data among organizations (not 
realtime) 
January 2003: online test across organizations and borders (1st 
attempt) 
February 2003: online test across organizations and borders (2nd 
attempt) 
March 2003: online test across organizations and borders (3rd attempt)
