Subject: [ebxml-iic] Additional comments for voting for Test Framework 1.0
Jacques and all,
I have 1 more additional comment that
I feel is critical to voting for the Test Framework 1.0
Specification:
Lines 2167 and 2177 : Describe requirements of a
Test Driver Message Store format for ( respectively) Service and
Connection modes. The way it is currently
written, it requires 2 different schemas for the Message Store, depending on the
mode.
( For Service mode... MIME and SOAP declaratoins
MUST be accepted for the "PutMessage" operation only.. not "GetMessage"
operations ).
This will require 2 MessageStore schemas ( one for
Connection Mode ( with MIME/SOAP elements.. and one for Service Mode ( without
).
OR, we simply "dummy up" the MesageStore with
default
<MIME:Message><MIME:MessageContainer><SOAP:Envelope>...etc..
content ,
and treat both cases identically. It would
then be up to the Test Writer not to query MIME/SOAP content, since that
information MAY not be
available in Service Mode.
My suggestion would be to only have one
MessageStore format... and leave it up to the Test Writer not to try and query
information that
may not be availble.
Regards,
Mike
