Subject: [ebxml-jc] FW: ebXML security models
Hi, Here is the letter concerning ebXML security harvesting for W3C WSA as requested by Ian on today's call. As part of the WSA-WG, we have formed a Security Task Force (the SFT) to look at and help coordinate a security architecture for web services. I have been tasked with, what is fondly referred to as the "harvesting" of security models/specification and knowledge from related efforts. I like to solicit the help of the JC to quickly (and somewhat roughly) assess where and what the ebXML effort has in offer in terms of a security architecture, security recommendations, specifications or common body of knowledge. I'm aware of a couple of presentations and a paper from XML 2001. Could you direct me to anything you feel is relevant? Thanks in advance.
