Notes from our meeting held March 5th

(Sorry for the delay in typing up these notes from our meeting two weeks
ago...)  We had action items - please see below!

1. Webinar discussion:
Carol talked briefly about the OASIS Symposium and reminded us that
there will be TC Lightning Rounds again this year.  Each TC should
designate someone to present the lightning round. Time limit is 3
minutes.  There are sessions available for workshops as well.  Would be
good to have one on ebXML if possible.  The Board of Directors and
Technical Advisory Board member nominations will open at the end of
March, so this is a good opportunity to meet potential nominees.  So far
Kathryn, Jacques, Pim and Monica will be attending.  It would be nice to
try to schedule a time to meet together during the Symposium.

The JC discussed when we would like to have a set of webinars. It was
agreed that the last week of April would be a good time (week of April
30th).  Carol needs two-three sentences from each TC for the webinar
promotion materials.  The webinars will be promoted on the OASIS Events
pages, in e-mails, and on a number of sites.  The BPEL webinars are in
March and have over 100 registered so far.  They are having two
webinars; a business overview and a technical overview.  ebXML TCs
interested in doing the webinars are Registry, CPA, Messaging and BP.
IIC is not sure what they could present.
ACTION ITEM: by Friday - please have a brief description to Carol.
Please also indicate if there are any days or times that will not work
for your TC. Also, indicate who the speakers will be.

2. Changes to Non Repudiation functionality:
This is being worked off-line.

3. Other Items:
Jacques mentioned that they are looking for one or two more people for
an eGov panel at the OASIS Symposium. If you know anyone who would be
appropriate please let Jacques know.

4. ebXML.xml.org:
We need entries in the products and testimonials sections of the
ebXML.xm..org site.  Please promote the site in your TC meetings, and
encourage TC members to add to the products and testimonials section.
Send to Carol and she can add to the site.
