Subject: ebXML versus an enveloping approach that uses CDATA Sections
I am dealing with a vertical standards initiative that is suggesting the use of CDATA sections to contain the message within their envelope instead of the approach that ebXML uses which I would describe as MIME content identifiers. Can anyone provide me information about the reason not to take this approach? The best that I've come up with is the impact of this on security and authentication checking.
