Title: RE: [ebxml-msg] Concall schedule

Short meeting OK with me, if we make the best of it
(maybe more details in agendas about what will be discussed
may help - or push - people be more prepared?)

Cyclone can do a rotation.

Importance: Low

Team,

due to the timescales and late notice I was out of the office
and had limited e-mail access I would like to setup a weekly call rota
starting next Wednesday (8th) at 11am Pacific.  I have seen no adverse
comment to this but hope that if you have any you will voice it now.
Matt hinted that a shorter call may be more useful - would people prefer
45 minutes to 1 hour?

So far I have the following volunteers to host calls
        Pete - SeeBeyond
        Matt - Yellow Dragon Software
        Mike - Drummond Group

A couple of others have made informal commitments please e-mail
me or the list to confirm, I would like at least 5 and preferable 6 so
that no one has to host more than once a month.  Once I have the list I
intend to just cycle around so that everyone can see when they are
expected to host a call and set up the Kavi Calendar to the end of this
year taking note of Thanksgiving and Christmas - anything else?

Thank you all for the efforts so far. I hope with a more regular
schedule we can move forward faster.

Subject: [ebxml-msg] Concall schedule

During last week's call, we discussed how to keep up the TC's momentum
and complete the work we have in progress.  I suggested that 2 weeks was
a long time between calls, resulting in "out of sight, out of mind"
during off-weeks.  There was general agreement that it would be a good
idea to talk more frequently.

An alternative that wasn't mentioned, is to increase the time to 90
minutes, so that we can get more accomplished on the days that we do
happen to achieve quorum.

Also, Jacques thought an earlier start time of 11am PT instead of 1pm
would be more convenient.

So, please reply with answers to the following survey:

1. Would you prefer changing to a weekly teleconference schedule, or
to remain biweekly but with longer calls?
2. Would you be able to participate in a rotating host schedule,
sponsoring a conference call every 4-6 weeks or so?
3. Will an earlier start time of 11am PT on Wednesdays work for you?

Thanks!
