Subject: RE: [ebxml-msg] Issue CORE-108: Party Identification References
CPPA has approved for its next maintenance version an approach to the party identifier types based on ISO registrations. I would hope that CPPA could be mentioned as a source of definition of type values. ECOM and a broad Pacific Rim review group already make use of these conventions. Pim recently mentioned the need in the EU for a short form for some of these values. Maybe we could put this item on the agenda for discussion? It is further RECOMMENDED that these values be taken from the EDIRA [ISO6523], EDIFACT [ISO9735] or ANSI ASC X12 [ASCI05] registries." I can locate no reference to such an X12 registry of types. Furthermore, the references to ISO 6523 and 9735 are for the syntax of the type ID schemes, not the actual registries themselves. Can anyone provide better links to any of these? --Pete Pete Wenzel <pete.wenzel@sun.com> Join the Open ESB Community <http://open-esb.org/>
