Subject: [OASIS Issue Tracker] (EBXMLMSG-79) Receiving MSH should not reject a message that does not use compression when PMode states to do do
Pim van der Eijk created EBXMLMSG-79: ---------------------------------------- Summary: Receiving MSH should not reject a message that does not use compression when PMode states to do do Key: EBXMLMSG-79 URL: https://issues.oasis-open.org/browse/EBXMLMSG-79 Project: OASIS ebXML Messaging Services TC Issue Type: Improvement Components: AS4 Profile Reporter: Pim van der Eijk Priority: Minor When an ebMS3 message is not consistent with its PMode, an MSH can issue an EBMS:0003 error. A question arose in testing an AS4 product whether a Receiving MSH should accept or reject an AS4 message that does not compress its payloads even though the Pmode parameter PMode[1].PayloadService.CompressionType is set. Since the AS4 compression feature is defined as a SHOULD for the sending MSH, and as AS4 already notes that AS4 compression does not make sense in some cases, the receiving MSH should not reject a message in this case as an EBMS:0003 ValueInconsisten error. -- This message was sent by Atlassian JIRA (v6.2.2#6258)
