Subject: FW: Draft CWAs for public comment
For info and comment: The European standards agency, CEN, recently established a “fast-track”
process to create a set of standards and protocols whereby public administrations
and agencies, standards bodies and consortia, and private companies, can encapsulate,
publish and exchange key information regarding eGovernment resources, standards
and technologies using standardized semantic descriptions. The proposed standard
works with RDF, OWL and Topic Maps; and the information syndication uses ATOM
feeds at its root. The drafts are now open for public review and will be discussed
and finalised at the last open meeting due to take place in Brussels, Belgium
on Tuesday, 3rd February. Please contact Paul van Rijsinge at the Dutch standards agency,
NEN, for any further information (see contact details below) Best regards, Peter From: ebes-Newsletter List
