Todd,

I think we agree here. EML tries to do exactly what you suggest, although
without specific links to legal markup languages (so far).

If we can:

* monitor and instigate domain-specific languages
* ensure the needs of government are taken onto account
* provide guidance to produce a common approach
* ensure the cross-domain aspects are taken into account

we will be doing a good and necessary job in this area of the charter.

(P.S. Is the People's Democratic Republic of Albonia somewhere between
Elbonia and Albania?)
