Subject: RE: [egov] MOD Registry
Paul, et al tomorrow morning Wed Feb 18, 2004 10:30am EST.. i am scheduled to participate in a U.S. Gov discussion on registry initiatives ... i was asked to participate in the meeting to update the U.S. Govt XML work group on OASIS eGov TC registry related initiatives. (Owen Ambur chairs the meeting. He has attended a couple of TC's DC meetings in the past.) i plan to only outline for meeting attendees the TC's collection of discussions on the registry topic including pointing to work already accomplished by several governments (egov xml focus area pointer)... i will also highlight the fact that the eGov TC's current focus is starting a pilot registry project and separately identify a list of e-gov registry basic requirements as a point of comparison with existing registry standards. The list of basic registry egov requirements i will refer to was published on the eGov TC cite back in November 2003 by Farrukh Najmi. My remarks will be in the context of an introduction/orientation to eGov TC initiatives. some members of this TC will be in attendance at the meeting i believe and i hope will contribute to my remarks during the meeting. to all... thanks for your great work! that i can share with a wider audience. diane -----Original Message----- From: paul.spencer@boynings.co.uk [mailto:paul.spencer@boynings.co.uk] Sent: Monday, February 16, 2004 10:50 AM To: egov@lists.oasis-open.org Subject: [egov] MOD Registry Importance: Low This project got slightly overtaken by the move to create a project within this TC. I attach a document that can act as an input to the eGov registry requirements. If anyone would like a different format, please let me know.
