Subject: Supervision and quality

eGov friends in OASIS

Happy Eastern to all of you. At this time it’s a wonderful weather near by Oslo.

We have worked on a concept we called PS&QA, Public Supervision and Quality Assurance – PS&QA:

Development of a common digital framework for public supervision and quality assurance in businesses

The following question led to the initiative for this project:

Is it possible to develop an electronic framework, usable by all relevant governmental supervisions and businesses which must follow the command from the supervisions?

If the answer is yes to this question, the work of the supervisions and involved businesses will be much more goal oriented and effective. The answer is yes. It is possible and realistic to develop such a common framework. On our website www.eprforum.no you will many notes describing a superstructure for PS&QA. This notes will answer the question, why such a superstructure are desirable and how the superstructure can be realized.

PS&QA will be based on a new standard for structure and functionality in electronic folders. (You have heard about this work before). Our plan is to promote a technical standard to ISO through OASIS, whilst a functional standard describing properties and purposes of e-Folders will be promoted through CEN.

We have selected two areas of supervision and quality - PSQA Finance and PSQA Food. Other areas might be Civil Aviation Authorities, Medical Care, Hospital etc.

Who will join us in this important development work? Who will be partners in a new consortium?

Med vennlig hilsen / Best regards
