Dear IDtrust Chairs,

Thank you so much for submitting your budget requests for 2008. The SC
met yesterday and approved the attached budget. I am sorry that we will
not be able to meet all the requests but we are aware of new TCs in the
IDtrust pipeline coming on board, so we need to be mindful of future
needs and growth.

Each TC will be allocated 5K for projects. It will be necessary for each
of you to send your request (with a detailed plan) to spend the money to
the SC chair before you commit the money, just to get approval.

We are also planning on organizing an IDtrust MS event for the **fall**,
probably in Europe and we would like to invite all TCs to participate in
some way; you should also consider this as an opportunity to have a F2F
with your TC. We will have facilities for InterOps, plug-fest, showcase,
etc. This will allow you to offset some of your requests because we will
include your activity in this event. We can use this event to invite
potential new members to your TC as well.

For those of you attending the NIST 2008 event, we would like to set
some time to meet informally to discuss TC goals, direction, traction,
visibility, recruitment, etc.
