I really like your list of goals here.

We definately have examples of high profile ballot samples from real previous elections that fit for what you are needing - that we can use.

I guess doing a "re-election" could be fun for attendees!?! 

Weaknesses in V5?!? ; -)

I already have some good thoughts on the 510 from the CA example from feedback there.

Bottom line in the "better V5" department - is the need in V6 to re-factor the data model - as the pre-requisite.  Rome was not built in a day of course...!
