Subject: RE: [emergency-adopt-events] Potential Topic Areas for the EI Summit

Jane or Dee --

We talked before about getting me a copy of the current, past and
potential vendor list that could be contacted regarding this conference,
I have not received anything. Can you please forward?

Regards
Dean

Absolutely this is important; I added this to my notes.

Importance: High

Hi Jane,

I meant to get this in to you earlier today, but I got a call from a
good friend I don't speak to often, and we got caught up in a long
conversation.

There is one topic I would like to add, especially if we end up
co-locating with Donna Roy's Baltimore NIEM event:

NIEM and EDXL: Complementary Model and Language families

There are other ways to say it and other approaches to focus on how
the National Information Exchange Model and the Emergency Data
Exchange Language are intended and ought to work together.

This is part and parcel of the topic:

* Coherent framework for EM interoperability

While I would not suggest a major emphasis on it this year, this
might make a terrific theme for next year's summit.

Cheers,
Rex
