Hopefully Tom will be on the EMA-TC call today at 12N ET and we can take a few minutes to get this figured out.

I don't think that is correct because CellCast has been sending and receiving CAP/NWEM/EDXL-DE messages via IPAWS-OPEN 2.0 for a few months now, and we don't have an "approved" asterisk next to our name.
Don.

Tom - if I understand this correctly -- those listed as "approved" are the only ones able to post at this time. Correct?

The list I sent Jane is the list of everyone who is interested, registering, signed and testing. There are only a few that can currently post (and receive).

Tom,
Is this truly the list of those who are currently actively testing using OPEN 2.0 (the list we were looking for - of those who could do a post-6/30/11 Interop), or is this just the list of those with an "*approved" or "**submitted for approval" MOA with the intention to test OPEN 2.0?

The "Original" designation refers to either being a previous OPEN 1.0 supporter and/or expressed interest in OPEN 2.0.

Subject: [emergency-adopt-events] Action Item Update from Jane -- NIEM Training Event
Hi Everyone,
Below are a few updates on my to-do list, with regards to the NIEM Training Event. Please review and feel free to forward any questions and/or further comments. Kind regards, Jane
1.) Action Item: Cross-Reference IPAWS 2.0 List Provided by Tom F. - against the OASIS Member List
After reviewing the list provided by Tom - the following OASIS members were confirmed:
NOAA**
Google**
CellCast
Mitre
FEMA under DHS*
Alcatel-Lucent**
NIH**
AtHoc
Desktop Alert
TeleCommunications Systems
DHS
Canadian Association for Public Alerting and Notification (CAPAN)
Collaborative Fusion*
Safe Environment
Booz Allen Hamilton
Previstar
Solace Systems
Most are listed as original status - those marked with an * indicates approved - those with ** indicate submitted for approval. I'm sure Tom F. can provide more details on what the term "original" means here.
2.) Action Item: Continue to Follow up with NIEM
Unfortunately, we still don't have any news from the folks at NIEM.
3.) Action Item: Continue to Research Out Options Directly with the Hotel
I'm currently working with hotel staff to secure a meeting room for us on Wednesday, 24 August. The hotel does not have any space available on Tuesday. They sent along pricing for internet connectivity, food/beverage, and setup. I'm waiting to hear what type of room rental will be involved. Once I have that pricing, a proposed budget will be sent to the Emergency Member Section StC for review and consideration. Once we hear back from them -- we'll have a really good idea of any per company cost associated with participation.
