EM Demo at NEMA RE: [emergency-adoption] Groups - Adoption SC meeting added

Tom,

Under Topic #2 - Events, I propose that we discuss the upcoming NEMA 2009 Mid-Year Conference.

The last day to register for NEMA is Jan 11.  I think we should consider having an OASIS Emergency Interoperability booth - possibly as an interop.  If others agree, the EM Adoption SC could make a request for the EI MS to get a booth for that purpose?  NEMA has not allowed multiple vendors to demonstrate from one single booth, but it wouldn't hurt to try again.  If not, just promote the adoption of standards and what has been done, distributed literature, etc.  


Also, later in the year, we may want to consider having a presence at the World Conference on Disaster Management, Toronto, Canada, 21-24 June 2009.

What other conferences do others feel would be good venues to demonstrate interoperability?  Any other international conferences to be considered?
