Subject: US HHS HAvBED Protocol
Is there anyone on the list who is familiar with this HAvBED data interchange protocol being used by HHS? National Hospital Available Beds for Emergencies and Disasters (HAvBED) System http://ftp.ahrq.gov/prep/havbed/havbed6.htm Is there any known comparison of the HAvBED system with the OASIS EDXL-HAVE standard? Should the OASIS EM Adoption effort reach out to HHS to demonstrate EDXL-HAVE as complementary to HAvBED? I also saw a recent news item where the HAvBED protocol was being used in an exercise.
