Subject: info block rationale
Hi, As volunteered I'm trying to boil down the rationale for multiple info blocks into these 3 points so they can be added to the spreadsheet for future reference. I've tried to summarize all the use cases discussed today and identify the drivers for multi-infos, in this case language, location, time and the associated following elements that provide the reasoning that accompanies the driver. Clear as mud right... comments welcome Rationale for multiple info blocks: - express event info in multiple languages with the language element being used to denote the language of the info block and free form text element values changing accordingly - express event info intended for different geolocations with the area blocks changing between info blocks in concert with some other elements such as responseType, instruction, headline, description, and effective/onset/expires. Not to be confused with using multiple area blocks in a single info block. - express event info that changes in time with the effective/onset/expires elements changing between info blocks in concert with some other elements such as Urgency/Severity/Certainty, responseType, instruction, headline, and description. -- jake@jpw.biz --
