Hi Jamie,

As you were not able to make the TC call yesterday, we will plan for the ITU liaison statement to be the primary topic of the CAP SC meeting on Monday at 12ET.  I hope you will be able to make that.  I'm adding Chet to this also in case you can't make it and to bring him into the discussion if needed.

Please see the docs attached to liaison statement from ITU-T SG 17, in which they convey their progress on updating their approved version of CAP to X.1303bis, reflecting among other things a modified approach to the ASN.1 appendix.

At the next CAP SC meeting on March 17, we plan to discuss the ITU modifications (see the zip file attached to their statement, at https://www.oasis-open.org/apps/org/workgroup/emergency/email/archives/201403/msg00002.html) to evaluate the conformance of their modifications to the current CAP standard.
