Subject: Re: [emergency-gis] RE: Motion to recommend GML Simple Features profile to the TC

Hi Carl,

You are fine to make this recommendation as a result of list
discussion since this is an SC recommendation to the TC. An actual
vote will take place in the TC following the SC
recommendation. Thank you for moving this along.

As you know, we hope for the TC consensus to be the way forward for
all future EDXL work. The DE and Sit-Rep work is approaching
conclusion in the SC and we need to be able to have this result
integrated before we have a public review of the Committee
Drafts. It would be helpful for all to know what the status is of
the OGC effort to add the circle to the Simple Features profile. Can
you please provide this status as well as an expected time line?

Kind regards,

Elysa Jones, Chair
OASIS EM-TC
CTO, Warning Systems, Inc.
