Subject: Apologies: Fwd: Call for Applications: 2018 Hearst Health Prize for Excellence in Population Health

Title: Call for Applications: 2018 Hearst Health Prize for Excellence in Population Health

Hi Everyone,

Sorry I completely zoned out on today's scheduled meeting. I'm in tunnel-vision mode working of the EDXL-DE-CAP Reference Implementation and EDXL-HAVE just lost mindshare until I ran across this message in my inbox just now.

I can't think of a better candidate for promoting population health than EDXL-HAVE on a daily basis for making sure that the availability of hospital resources for a given area/region is up to date. This is important for regular daily operations as much as for emergencies, since the health of a population has to be considered for both circumstances.

Shouldn't we think about submitting our work for this?

Cheers,
Rex
