Subject: Re: Structure, Schema and Document Title Changes
Thanks Again Darrell,
For all the work you've done and are doing. I have an answer for you.
From today's RIM Meeting Notes:
"
We decided to adopt a policy of having the XSD Schema file reflect the current working draft number at each change. And we will consult with TC Admin Chet Ensign for what to do to make sure that the main XSD Schema file for the Committee Specification Draft and the Committee Specification Public Review Draft are also consistently named.
"So the draft you're working on should be "edxl-have-v2.0-wd03.xsd" and should be included with that filename in the zip package. We need to consult with Chet Ensign for how TC Admin will handle changing the filename appropriately when they produce the public review package.
Cheers,
Rex

What should the main HAVE schema file be called? Currently it is "edxl-have-v2.0-wd02,xsd" should it be "edxl-have-v2.0-wd03.xsd" or just "edxl-have-v2.0.xsd"?
cheers,
Darrell

Hi All,
This is the right time to take care of some details we need to cover before going to the TC for the Public Review. First we have to conform to the directory scheme and naming convention advanced by the RIM SC and approved by the TC such that the main schema is in a folder/directory named 'schema' along with a folder/directory named 'ImportedSchema' which contains all imported schema for the specification. NOTE: This requires changes in the edxl-have-v2.0.xsd file to CHANGE ALL INSTANCES OF
schemaLocation="./rim/edxl-...
.xsd"/>
TO
schemaLocation="./ImportedSchema/edxl-....xsd"/> Needless to say, the structure of the folder/directories in the .zip archive of all files that will be uploaded to the Drafts folder of the Documents page for this group should follow this structure and naming convention.
The Title page should read:
Emergency Data Exchange Language
(EDXL) Hospital AVailability Exchange
(HAVE) Version 2.0Working Draft 03
8 August 2017
Cheers,
Rex
