Subject: Groups - DE_2.0_schema_ver3.0_HAVE_Examples.zip (DE_2.0_schema_ver3.0_HAVE_Examples.zip) uploaded

Here is a zip file containing Don's recent ver 3 schema for the DE 2.0,
along with a couple examples utilizing HAVE. The suggestion is that the
schema is sufficiently far along to do some road testing. Thanks.

The document named DE_2.0_schema_ver3.0_HAVE_Examples.zip
(DE_2.0_schema_ver3.0_HAVE_Examples.zip) has been submitted by Jeff Waters
to the EM Infrastructure Framework SC document repository.

Document Description:
The contents of this folder contain everything you need to
validate and explore a draft EDXL DE 2.0 draft ver 3 schema. The XML
examples use the HAVE standard. One example uses the DE wrapper and the
other uses a SOAP wrapper with DE descriptive contents.

Changes incorporated in this draft DE 2.0 schema include:
(*) all element type names end with "Type"
(*) Use of xsd choice for selecting xml v. non-xml content, instead of
abstraction
and previous changes noted:
(a) all element names capitalized
(b) ValueListUri's used for many elements
(c) georss.xsd and gmlgeorss.xsd used in place of the upcoming new version
of geo-oasis:Where (providing basically the same capability)
(d) xlink attribute groups specified on key elements to allow them to be
tagged as
xlink resources
(e) a new "Link" element added to the DE 2.0 schema to allow
links to be explicitly specified
between de components. (The SOAP example links the descriptor in the header
to the content
in the body)
(f) reorganized schema based on Jacob's concepts, and modularized further,
so that
the different components of the DE can be utilized including the DE
envelope elements, the
DE content descriptor elements, the content object descriptor elements and
the content objects themselves.
(g) an initial common types schema was created to store the ValueListUri
