Subject: Groups - EDXL_Common_Types_ver04.xsd (EDXL_Common_Types_ver04.xsd) uploaded
The EDXL Common Types schema version 4 (EDXL_Common_Types_ver04.xsd) has been uploaded for your review in conjunction with the Common Types Specification Working Draft at http://www.oasis-open.org/apps/org/workgroup/emergency-if/download.php/41441/edxl-ct-v1.0-wd01-JW-3.odt. Together, the schema and the document, represent the EDXL Common Types and will be referred, when ready, to the EM TC for approval as the Common Types Committee Specification Draft. This will allow the schema and document to be placed in the OASIS library where they can be referenced by our larger committee specifications (Sitrep, DE, etc.). The Committee Specification Draft can then be updated as many times and as often as needed. The result is a flexible solution for providing a publicly-accessible, referenceable schema and document for common types. Thanks. -- Jeff Waters The document named EDXL_Common_Types_ver04.xsd (EDXL_Common_Types_ver04.xsd) has been submitted by Jeff Waters to the EM Infrastructure Framework SC document repository. Document Description: An updated version 4 of the EDXL Common Types schema. This schema is described in the Common Types Working Draft at http://www.oasis-open.org/apps/org/workgroup/emergency-if/download.php/41441/edxl-ct-v1.0-wd01-JW-3.odt. The only change to the schema was the appending of the word "Type" onto the type names. The change aids clarity. A zip file will be uploaded momentarily which includes this schema and others to show this schema in use for supporting a draft version of the Distribution Element 2.0.
