My notes from today's meeting:

Attendance: Patti, Karen, Renato, Rex

1 - There is a need to review the EDXL-DE Cancel/Update/Ack message types and how they are used with EDXL-RM

This may include updates to EDXL-DE (V1.1?) to make semantics of these types clearer for payloads.

There is an new Section 5.0 (currently empty) which will describe all the EDXL-DE profile issues with embedding EDXL-RM as the payload.

2 - There we discussion of the Simple V Complex message structure and that may make clearer the message types.

The new Abstract Reference Model was well received

3 -There was discussion on the need for clearly defining the "owner" of each element, or who is more likely to supply this data from the Resource Consumer and/or Resource Distributor

4 - The ScheduleInfo includes both dateTime and Location - both optional. This will allow schedules to indicate either time, location or both.

5 - Location information will be expressed in three ways:

 - plain text

 - structured elements (using CIQ)

 - spatially using OASIS:Where

5 - Discussed the example messages where Accept, Decline, and Conditional are expressed. The general idea is that an Accept will totally accept the corresponding Request - and hence - there is not need to repeat ANY information. A decline is the same, but you are declining the Request. Only with Conditional will there be any repeated/new elements. These would describe the differences from the Request only.

6 - CIQ will be used for Party/Contact name and addresses.
