Subject: [emergency-msg] F to F working meeting week of Dec. 4 - 8

All,

The messaging and notifications committee last night recommended an
OASIS face to face meeting in Washington DC during the week of Dec. 4-8
rather than in November. This seems to be the most likely plan to get a
F to F working meeting before the end of the year. I assume we would
plan for a 2 or 3 day session Dec. 4, 5, and 6.

The primary purpose of the meetings will be to complete the EDXL
Resource Messaging committee draft ready for 60-day public review. As
time allows we could also address HAVE issues depending on where it is
in the process.

Elysa, if you are OK with this and there are no significant issues, I
will facilitate a request to the DM program to request some support.

Thanks,

Tim

Subject: [emergency-msg] Minutes for meeting October 19, 2006

Hi Everyone,

Here are the Minutes of our last meeting,

EM-Msg Meeting October 19, 2006 Minutes

Roll:
Rex Brooks,
PattiAymond,
Gary Ham
Karen Robinson

We had a quorum.

Agenda:

1 We briefly reviewed the most recent version of the EDXL_RM
specification which Karen uploaded for us. We reiterated our opinion
that the message matrix needs to be available in the spec for ease of
reference as we work through the individual messages. We explored ways
in which we might move the work forward a bit more expedtiously.

2 We spent most of the meeting attempting to reckon the most effective
meeting schedule for finishing up work on EDXL_RM.

We suggest having the next face-to-face meeting in Washington, D.C.
Until the week of December 4-8, 2006 as opposed to early November
because there appeared to be too many conflicts at the same time that it
would make travel arrangements more difficult and costly for Karen to
attend in perso

We also suggest scheduling the remaining EM-Msg SC meetings
until the
face-to-face for Thursdays at 5:00 p.m. So that we can work more
effectively
	with Karen and Renato.

The meeting adjourned.
