Thanks Patti, This is pretty much what I have been doing, with the exception that I have kept the redline going in parallel, so as not to have to do it in one big operation at the end. However, I wasn't aware of Word getting "stuck" in track changes mode, except in practice of course, when I yell at the ether "G--D----%$3##0*&! Word!!!!" I am uploading both versions of 011 now.
