Subject: Re: [emergency-msg] CAP 1.2 items

Jacob -

Excellent summary. Thanks.

As to the geo elements, this is an excellent opportunity to align CAP with
the work of the IETF and NENA with regard to polygon and circle. Would be
nice if they were all aligned! A number of the use cases used in the
development of the location elements in the IETF and NENA are from the
emergency services community. Another interesting aspect of the IETF work
is that they developed and documented a Threat Analysis document focused
on location payloads in a mobile location/EM environment. A very useful
document.

There will a be a Geo-GIS Subcommittee teleconference this Friday.

Cheers
