Hi Cathie,

I opened a TC ballot for this in order for the voting members to have a reminder or three between now and the 27th, so my question is whether voting that way counts or are we required to individually write to emergency-ms@lists.oasis-open.org to vote to Elysa to continue as TC representative?

The Emergency Member Section Steering Committee has appointed and elected representatives that require your review this year.

Both TCs must reconfirm your TC representative (or select a new one) and report your vote toÂÂ emergency-ms@lists.oasis-open.orgÂÂ ÂÂ
before September 27.

There are also three at-large seats eligible for nomination.These at-large members provide for community-wideÂ
representation in addition to the committee-specific representation on the Steering Committee.

Nominations for the at-large seats start on September 13 and will close on September 27.. Â
NOTE the policy does not provide for the nomination period to be extended--all nominations MUST be received by September 27.

You may nominate yourself or any current Member Section Member by email toÂsc-election@oasis-open.org

Nominations must be accepted by the nominee, by email to bothÂsc-election@oasis-open.orgÂandÂemergency-ms@lists.oasis-open.orgÂÂ
Nominees are encouraged to share some background information to help the voters know who they are.

If there are more than three nominations (at large seats)ÂÂ voting will take place 1-15 October via a closed ballot.ÂÂ

Otherwise, the at-large candidates are automaticallyÂÂselected and will hold their seat for two years andÂ

TC representatives will hold their seats for one year.
