My bad -- application. While CAP may be interpreted/translated into layer 7, it doesn't reside there.
 
I'm still against any concept of forms in the CAP spec. We need a working XML and XSD to start with. Full stop end of story.

        Actually, CAP *is*, at least partly "presentation layer" if you're talking about distributed protocols... Take a look at the OSI Seven Layer Model for distributed systems. CAP plays in layers 6 and 7 (i.e. presentation and application). XML is solidly in layer 6. Unfortunately, CAP also has Layer 5 features (like "password"), these should be removed...
