CAP Broadcast Live on Air @ NAB2004 & PBS Tech Conf.

All,

I'm not sure how many here are planning to attend NAB2004 (at the LVCC, 19th
to 22nd April) or the PBS Technical Conference (at the MGM Grand, 15th-17th
April) in Las Vegas this year, but just an FYI we will be transmitting CAP
test alerts from a local station (KLVX (a PBS station)) to receivers over a
digital television signal using multiple broadcast receiver vendors and our
own and partner transmission engines, and ingest engines for reformatting
EAS and other feeds, as well as a CAP webservice and web entry system for
generation of CAP alerts (including location services via MapPoint). There's
also a windows-based CAP client to see.

We have done this every year for the past 4 years, but this is the first
time we are using CAP exclusively for message reformatting and origination.
