Subject: More info on Oct 19
Hi Folks, Here is a url where you can get a somewhat more complete idea of what the workshop will be including. Note, this is a wiki, and so it reflects the style/organization of the authors. Note that the FEA refers to the Federal Enterprise Architecture program. DRM refers to the Data and Information Reference Model, one of the reference models promulgated by the Office of Management and Budget's Federal Enterprise Architecture program Management Office http://feapmo.gov. The DRM has yet to be released. All of the reference models are to some extent works in progress, though they are usable now. I have not used the conference call nor the shared screen web program, so I can't vouch for their workability. I think that at lunch and/or during the 'hands-on' session, we can cklasch on our own at the back of the room at least for a little while. The ? symbol in the wiki usually links to a personal wiki page. Don't be surprised if that page is blank, as mine is. I'm working on the presentation more than a personal description. http://colab.cim3.net/cgi-bin/wiki.pl?BestPracticeProcessforImplementingFEA_Data_Reference_Model_XMLProfile_2004_10_19 Ciao, Rex -- Rex Brooks GeoAddress: 1361-A Addison, Berkeley, CA, 94702 USA, Earth W3Address: http://www.starbourne.com Email: rexb@starbourne.com Tel: 510-849-2309 Fax: By Request
