Yes, I learned of this yesterday and am very happy Art is going to 
represent the TC and Contra Costa County on this Committee.  I have 
heard some disturbing things about how the wireless industry would 
like to see some significant changes if not a completely different 
standard for alert and warning.  The meeting is open to the general 
public and will be held 12/12 at the FCC.  Good luck Art and others 
that can show a support for the standard as it is used now and built 
into many implemented and developing systems. Elysa
