Subject: RE: [emergency] Changes to HAVE Schemas to do Value List stuff
Hi, Good. I think such a registry could
maintain a number of such resources – instances of some being maintained
locally while others are only pointed at. It should also provide URN
resolution. Would your group be interested if we were willing to deploy such a
registry?
From: Ham, Gary A
[mailto:hamg@BATTELLE.ORG] It is a definite need. Or at least a
registry that points by urn to where each official code lists is managed. Gary A. Ham Senior Research Scientist Battelle Memorial Institute 540-288-5611 (office) 703-869-6241 (cell) "You

these sort of Code Lists?
From: Ham, Gary A
[mailto:hamg@BATTELLE.ORG] I like renato's approach for code lists in
general. I would be an improvement to our current thinking. It is certainly simpler for a human to
understand. Some may have an issue however because it
would require string parsing of the element data. This is a discussion I wish we had five
months ago. Gary A. Ham Senior Research Scientist Battelle Memorial Institute 540-288-5611 (office) 703-869-6241 (cell) "If nobody uses it, it ain't a

<TriageCountQty>15</TriageCountQty> </TriageCount> Cheers...
