All,
Although I planned to be there all week a
sudden illness (flu) kept me from flying. I intended on trying to fly out
today or tomorrow, but unfortunately I am still too ill to travel. I will dial
in whenever I can.
Thanks,
Lee

Dear EM-TC Members,
The time is fast approaching for our annual OASIS Symposium. I hope by
now you all have your reservations made and are looking forward to a great week
in San Diego.
Some logistical information and an agenda for our face-to-face meeting are
provided below for your review.
Logistics: Be sure that you
have designated that you will attend the EM-TC Face to Face meetings Wed, Thurs
and Fri. There is no charge for this but they need to know. OASIS
is providing the meeting space, wireless Internet, breaks with coffee in the
morning and soft drinks in the afternoon, and a speaker phone. Be sure
and thank the OASIS staff for this. They have listened to our needs and
responded. Lunch is not a part of the package, however, we can order a
lunch and have it available so as to maximize our time together. I'll let
you know the details about the lunch order for Wed/Thurs as well as the room
numbers for our activities as soon as I know. Please respond to this email with which days you will be at
the symposium and which F2F meetings you will attend.
Agenda:
Sunday, April 15. Be sure and check out the offerings
for courses on this day. Patti and Michelle are planning to take Mary
McRae's Editors class which is sure to be helpful to the whole TC. Most
folks will be arriving this day.
Monday, April 16. Plan to attend the Symposium Sessions. Our
own Michelle Raymond will be giving a presentation on the Management Track
entitled: Continuing through Emergency: eBiz/eGov Continuity and
Contingency Functioning throughout Emergency Incidents. If you will be
there, be sure and provide Michelle with your cell phone number prior to her
presentation so that it will activate during her demonstration. Let's all
be there to support Michelle. The first part of the TC lightning rounds
will be at 5:00. I am not sure which one our TC will be in, but at the
appropriate time, I will give the 3-4 minute overview of what our TC has done
in the past year. Monday evening from 6-7 there is a light
reception. We will gather there and can convene for an informal session
that evening.
Tuesday, April 17. Plan to attend the Symposium Sessions.
The second day of TC lightning rounds is at 4:00 and the main reception will be
that evening at 6:30.
Wednesday, April 18. Plan to attend the all day Face to Face
meeting of the EM-TC. This day, the meeting will last from 8am-8pm with
morning, lunch, afternoon and dinner breaks. The evening session will be
used as needed to accomplish any objectives missed during the day or to relax,
review the notes for the day and prepare for the next.

overflow topics.
I have also invited members of OASIS Staff to join us sometime during the 2-day
period; Jamie Clark to discuss rights issues that arise due to similar
implementations being developed to support interop standards and Scott McGrath
to talk about the EI member section.
We have arranged for RIM, HAVE and RM discussions as well as voting to go on in
the afternoons to accommodate our friends in Australia. I hope you guys
can make it. We will have a conference phone and dial-in information will
be provided prior to the meeting on the site.
Looking forward to seeing you all in San
Diego!
