Hi Folks,

I have attached the severe edit of my previous posting of a Statement of Purpose (from max to min). I added it to the document repository in the Resources Folder, too.

I deleted everything except the first paragraph which says:

The purpose for the Emergency Data Exchange Language Reference Information Model (EDXL-RIM) Subcommittee is to conduct the work of creating the EDXL-RIM specification. The purpose of the EDXL-RIM specification is to provide a high-level, abstract, information model for the family of EDXL specifications. EDXL-RIM is intended to be a unifying reference for future versions of existing specifications and for the next member specifications of the EDXL family group.

We do not have a second volunteer to co-chair an EDXL-RIM Subcommittee. As said before, I can't handle the workload of being a sole chair of a subcommittee, and being a co-chair may have limited lifespan in light of the fact that my OASIS membership terminates in July and I see no likelihood at this time that I will able to renew my membership. That could change, of course, by my crystal ball is notably unreliable.
