Invitation: CAP Event Terms List Meeting

Dear EMTC members, please considering attending if you are interested as well as forwarding the invite to anyone you think might want to join.


The CAP Subcommittee of the OASIS Emergency Management Technical Committee
(EMTC) has recently published the Event Terms List Committee Note for use
with the Common Alerting Protocol and would like to invite you to attend
an upcoming meeting.

The <event> element is the focus for this Committee Note, as it is the only
required element in CAP directly associated with the subject event for a
CAP message. Aligning practices surrounding this element, as opposed to
other possible candidate elements, is the choice adopted in this work
product for addressing this interoperability concern.

As a key stakeholder in CAP development and use, I would like to invite you
to attend one of the upcoming meetings we are holding to gather input from Subject
Matter Experts (SME) like yourself.  Please feel free to forward this invitation
to any colleagues you think might also be interested.  We also intend to record
these meetings and make them available for those of you who cannot attend.
