Subject: [OASIS Issue Tracker] Commented: (EMIX-100) 288 Change Wording

    [ http://tools.oasis-open.org/issues/browse/EMIX-100?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=20995#action_20995 ]

Edward Cazalet commented on EMIX-100:

Auditability and Tracing is good.

What needs to be clear is what properies of the energy are being offered and transacted with the energy or offered and transacted separately.

For example a wind generator may be granted a Renewable Energy Credit (REC) which is a Warrant, for each MWH of generation. The generator may sell the REC with the energy or separate from the energy. The buyer of the energy needs to know that a REC was issued and also needs to know if the REC comes with the energy or has be stripped off and sold separately.
