I appreciate the IRC request for more information on TeMIX. I will provide a short summary of TeMIX and its relevance to current energy markets.
The TeMIX White paper was approved on May 23 of 2010 and has been available for public review since then.
The principals of TeMIX draw on accepted practices for financial and energy markets. The practices in RTOs and ISOs have some differences from most financial and energy markets but have been accommodated in the TeMIX/EMIX framework.
The EMIX specification is not entirely based on TeMIX drawing on inputs from IRC, the CIM, NAESB, OPNADR, OPENADE, etc.
