Subject: [OASIS Issue Tracker] Commented: (EMIX-306) Suggest clarificationof schema with respect to Power Type and Energy Type

Toby Considine commented on EMIX-306:
-------------------------------------

We do have Units divided into Power Units and Energy units. From a terminology perspective, it might be better to ask whether we want to express units or concepts.

For example, do we want to have an element RealPower, and not that it is measured in WH, or do we want to have WH, and not that it is RealPower.

> Suggest clarification of schema with respect to Power Type and Energy Type

> EMIX_PowerEnums_2of2_20110220.pdf displays UnitEnergyPriceType, EnergyQuantityType, PowerType, UnitPowerPriceType, and PowerQuantityType.
> Do we need Power Type as it has the same content as PowerQuantityType? If we need PowerType, why do we not need an EnergyType?
