Subject: [OASIS Issue Tracker] Commented: (EMIX-383) Use of "entity" isoverly generic

    [ http://tools.oasis-open.org/issues/browse/EMIX-383?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=25515#action_25515 ]

Gerald Gray commented on EMIX-383:
----------------------------------

Originally I was going to create this as an EI issue, but the definition is in EMIX, not EI.

I was also thinking that a party to a transaction or an event might be a residential customer but these would normally go through an aggregator which in turn is an organization.

> Throughout the schemas "entity" is used where we mean "organization" (or organisation in the CIM), e.g. LoadServingEntity
> Is there an instance where a resource is not represented by an organization?
> Suggest change "entity" to "organization" (or "organisation")
