Subject: Groups - Emix-and-Ws-Calendar-proposal.pdf (emix-1-0-spec-wd28-section3-wip.pdf) uploaded

The document named Emix-and-Ws-Calendar-proposal.pdf
(emix-1-0-spec-wd28-section3-wip.pdf) has been submitted by Toby Considine
to the OASIS Energy Market Information Exchange (eMIX) TC document
repository.

Document Description:
Chapter 6 and 7 were in the wrong order. Old Chapter 6 began explaining hot
to extend EMIX to create Power, Old Chapter 7 explained how EMIX uses
WS-Calendar. So they were swapped.

Chapter 6 (old Chapter 7) confused more than a few reviewers. It seemed to
suggest that Gluon, for example, was an EMIX-defined element. In WD27,
Chapter 3 now includes a table summarizing key WS-Calendar elements and
explicitly referring tohe reader to that specification.

That left Chapter 6 itself to be re-written. In WD27 Chapter 3, a Schedule
is defined as a Sequence populated by Product Descriptions. The new Chapter
6 discusses how to build a Schedule, how to use Vavailability, and has the
example, as before.

Te example still needs re-writing. For example, it still has a Date
separate from a Time, when Availability should be used instead. Some thing
the example is jsut confusing, and should be eliminated. Others urge
reform. Comments and discussion welcome *now*
