Subject: [OASIS Issue Tracker] Commented: (EMIX-456) Line 122 - "tenders, performance calls" - Definitions required

    [ http://tools.oasis-open.org/issues/browse/EMIX-456?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=26019#action_26019 ]

Edward Cazalet commented on EMIX-456:
--------------------------------------

A Tender is another word in (common use in some markets) for an offer or bid. A Tender to sell is an offer and a tender to buy is a bid. My understanding is that ISO bid-based markets often use the term bid for both a buy and sell tender. Offer markets use offer for both tender sides Since usage of the terms vary, EMIX has selected the term Tender and defined it for use in EMIX.

I suggest that" performance call" is a vague term and should be deleted from the document. I don't think we use it anywhere. Does it mean delivery, exercise of an option, a DR event, or ? Not clear to me.
