Subject: RE: [emix] State of the Documents
Last night we did not finish dealing with the issue of the constant power requirement in the Power Product Description (see line 783 Table 10.1) Without changing the schema, I suggest 1. removing the reference to “constant power” in the Description of “Power Product Description”, and 2. add a requirement for “constant power” to the TeMIX Power description. As stated, TeMIX Power is derived directly from Product Description which is ok. The reason for the changes is the requirements Power Products derived from Power Product Description do not use the “Constant Power” requirement and TeMIX Power, which requires “Constant Power” did not impose this requirement in its description. At least one very active TDC member left out of the acknowledgements (You better look and see if you are, too) Continuing conversations about adding Integral Only, the all-or-nothing flag as an option in Product and Options. Doing so would make a lot of things easier, need not be represented in the non-normative uml (because optional). Last night, I couldn’t see to pull it off seamlessly: Schema, text, tables. After sleep I can unless the TC objects. With a clean Spec, the TC will be able to opt for wd32 or wd33, so I will package 32. Names before noon if you want them in 33 tc “The single biggest problem in communication is the illusion that it has taken place.”
