The Warrants provide a placeholder for such information, which varies widely across regulatory commercial environments. Per the specification, details vary, and such information can be carried in warrant. No specific definitions are provided (except power quality).

Work in ASHRAE SPC201 is one path to defining specifcs; so-called "Green Certifications" that vary in requirements by state can be carried by inclusion or reference via the extensibility mechanisms included.

A future standardization activity may choose to codify such warrants; EMIX 1.0 does not.
