"Information Exchanges" is the key phrase from the comment. EMIX does describe an information model for price and product definition, but does NOT address information exchanges, as in e.g. Energy Interoperation.
In addition, the intent is not to include all information used in any application of the standard, but the key information that needs to be communicated. Where implementers would like to include additional information, the extensibility and evolvability features of EMIX permit precisely that while maintaining interoperability on the model.
