Subject: TC.Memberdatabase: taxonomies (was Re: Member/Interested Party --Database)
This, along with a few other task items, is
slightly delayed here, but a couple of ADDITIONS to
the member database:
-----------------
1) checkboxes (fixed fields) in additions to
descriptions (Rex, you brought this up already..simply mentioning it here to aid
my memory).
2) frameworks/taxonomies: Members of authoritative organizations can provide the authority for certain taxonomies/frameworks, and this can be documented in our member database. These contributors would not necessarily be members of the OASIS TC, but could be subject matter experts or liaisons. Examples could be liaison representing the "Roman Catholic Church" "American Psychological Association", "Indian Mission to UN" or "Republican Party", and their associated political/social/religious taxonomies. This is a little bit delayed (along with a few
other deliverables), but progress is being made. Volunteer assistance is
duly appreciated ;-).

However, due to the different points in discussion we were at, the effort may not have appealed to everyone's interest at any given time. We are starting a database of all interested parties in HumanMarkup, to
allow us to begin to network between each other. We will include the
following members in this database.
Due to privacy considerations, only contributors who have those who have
asked to be part of the Technical Committee, *OR* _publicly_ posted their
information during Phase 0/Phase 1, will be listed in the publicly accessible
database.
These are fields (as they stand):
Name:
Organization (sponsoring) Organization (non-sponsoring) Address Phone Interests Background Desired Contribution to HumanMarkup Desired Results of HumanMarkup Role within TC: admin, technical, member, non-member Other resources/information -------------------- If you feel there is anything you would like to add, feel free to post: -------------------------- Ranjeeth Kumar Thunga
