Greetings all. I've been somewhat swamped with work of late, so I apologize for being slow on getting editorial milestones up. Basically, my primary targets for getting materials up and moving look like this:

 

Move existing framework, application, and related work (the primary HM documents) into an XML format by 1 December 2001. Transforms to HTML and Text formats will be available concurrently, and will be generated from the XML. Framework stylesheets and transformations will also be developed around then, as well as a working document schema for future documents.

 

Archive and synthesize current discussions (from 1 September) into formal Working Draft of HumanML Spec (1 November 2001). I'd like to maintain about a one month buffer between current conversations and draft incorporation (in other words, the WD will probably run about a month behind the most current discussions).

 

These should keep me pretty busy for the next couple of months, on top of a fairly heavy work schedule elsewhere (I's gots to pay da bills, folks).

 

I'm putting together a web application for tracking the current state of documents; I should have that up by Friday of next week (19 October 2001).
