Subject: Re: [h-anim] ANNOUNCE: Dancing bodies

Hi Sandy,

I couldn't get the wrls to work for me on the Mac or WinXP in cortona
in Netscape or IE, but I laid my eyeballs on the movie and that is
pretty nice.

Have you guys explored the single mesh spec for the bvh? I'm in
spitting distance of what I think will prove to be workable single
mesh generic figures, (in the low 7K range) that includes my
animatable facial skeleton system extension to the h-anim spec. It is
a longer term goal to be able to adapt them automagically from CAESAR
or CAESAR-like scan info, or other morphometric data sources. However
that is for the future.

You will be getting a package from me in the next week or so--a
message with a paper attached--that outlines how I think we (the TC
subcommittee) can proceed with the Human Physical Characteristics
Description ML Subcommittee I informed you of ages ago. We are
finally getting around to that stage. I actually have several
questions, but I will save them for the whole package--which I'm
still researching.

Cool work. Wish I could see it as it is meant to be seen, but all I
get is a black background.

Ciao,
Rex
